Participantif you get no luck from norgren then accltd.com And yes, i work for them and yes we have one in stock.. Its down as “RATIONALISED SPARES SET” so the price is high, norgren up the prices of older items due to economics of scale.. still, cheaper than a new cylinder! if you are outside of the uk email sales@accltd.com or me personally @ adam@accltd.com

ParticipantHi, Yes I know Pneumission. They keep emailing me to become a dealer. Pneumission is from China and are predominantly a wholesaler of pneumatic products. (They are not a manufacture but a good marketing company). Have reasonable prices but not sure of quality. They produce very little of what they market. I have many years of experience in the Asian markets as to who are producers and who are not, whom are good and whom you should stay away from. If you need more information please contact me. If you require a good solid supplier from Asia let me know. Thanks MC

ParticipantDo you have a cross reference catalog for all Parker, SMC and Norgren components (valves, cylinders, filters, regulators, lubricators, fittings etc.) made in china. If so how can I get a copy of the catalog.

ParticipantI agree, there should be less condensate avaliable from air pressurized at 50psi than 100psi.

ParticipantWhy do you need so much pneumatics pressure? Can you use a hydraulic cylinder?

ParticipantThis is an old Martonair Valve that may be obsolete, check with Norgren to see if they can help.

ParticipantWhy air cylinders fail By Ernie Lunski, Parker Hannifin Corporation Insufficient lubrication Catastrophic failure can also occur when cylinder seals have insufficient lubrication.

ParticipantHi – your Cornelius is probably a converted aircraft compressor – they had a 1/2 hp 120v motor driving it to fill scuba tanks to around 2000 psi, took about an hour and was a nice unit.

ParticipantI think you will need to consult an engineer from a cylinder company. A rotation of the rod from time to time can normally be handled fine but 5-6 rpm consistantly will require additional engineering for the piston and rod bearing. What about using a rotating coupling instead of rotating the entire cylinder?

Participantoh, you are reseller, not real manufacturer.
