ParticipantLegris is the inventor of the Push-to-connect fitting in 1969. Festo buys the fittings from Pisco. It is probably better to work with the manufacturer of the products, he has the knowledge and the expertise.

ParticipantA unidirectional blocking valve usually will stop flow in one direction when engaged, functioning as a check valve. A bidirectional blocking valve usually is a valve that stops flow in both directions when engaged. I can not give any guidance on application suitability, except that pilot line connections can be more complicated for bidirectional blocking valves.

ParticipantDoes anyone know a company who can crossreference Chiyoda Pneumatic Fitting. So don’t have to pay the 1000% mark up. .00 for a .00 fitting.

ParticipantHumphrey products used to have their line of TAC valves. These were basic valves with tons of little air logic and manual actuators that screwed on them. I worked for them in the early 90’s and the still sold them then, I would guess they still do. I remember that they specifically had a flip/flop or ball point pen circuit in the catalog. You might try them. Hope this helps.
